The Who cut Houston show short after Roger Daltrey's voice issues

Roger Daltrey lost his voice during The Who's show Wednesday night in Houston, forcing them to pull the plug after eight songs.

The problem, apparently due to allergies, became evident during "Who Are You," when Pete Townshend took over on vocals. After "Eminence Front," Daltrey said, "I think I should quit while I'm ahead."

The band took a break before Townshend came back out to announce that they had to stop, but promised they will make it up.Daltrey has undergone numerous surgeries on his throat.
