Peter Frampton joined by Pearl Jam members in Seattle

Peter Frampton brought his farewell tour to Seattle’s Paramount Theater this week and was joined by two very special guests.

The guitar legend surprised the crowd by introducing Pearl Jam rockers MikeMcCready and Matt Cameron, who joined him to perform the Soundgarden track “Black Hole Sun,” a tune Frampton recorded for his “Fingerprints” album.

In introducing the song, Frampton recalled getting to perform it with the band’s late frontman Chris Cornell, calling it “one of the better moments of my life,” and then dedicated the song to Chris, his wife Vicki and their kids. Check out the performance to the right.
