Joe Walsh channels his inner George Harrison on Ringo Starr's new album

Joe Walsh has once again helped his brother-in-law Ringo Starr by playing on his new album, What's My Name.

He co-wrote and plays on "Gotta Get Up to Get Down," and along with Paul McCartney, plays on a cover of John Lennon's "Grow Old With Me."

Walsh tells Billboard, "It sounds just like The Beatles. At first I didn't know what to do, but I think I really nailed it, and I'm so proud of it. I just thought, 'What would George (Harrison) do?' and went with that. It's a real honor and privilege to be on song like that."

Walsh is preparing for his third annual VetsAid benefit concert Sunday at the Toyota Center in Houston with special guests ZZ TopThe Doobie BrothersBrad PaisleySheryl Crow and Jason Isbell.
