Bruce Springsteen says he'll record new album and tour in 2020

After a 2018 run on Broadway and then a year without touring, Bruce Springsteen says he'll go back on the road with The E Street Band next year.

In an interview with Australia's Sunrise, he says, "We're gonna start to make the record relatively soon -- I never know how long that's gonna take. But when it's finished we'll start looking at some touring and perhaps late in the year next year or something. That may come up. I'm looking forward to that."

Springsteen, who is now 70, last toured with The E Street Band in 2017. His last album with the band was 2014's High Hopes.
