Talking Heads have launched an official Instagram account, and that has us wondering if the long defunct band could be getting ready for a comeback.
As a group, the Heads have been absent from social media, so the appearance of an account was bound to raise some eyebrows. As for the individual members:
- David Byrne will finish up the Broadway run of his American Utopia production in mid-February.
- Drummer Chris Frantz announced today (Wednesday) that his memoir, Remain in Love: Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, Tina will be published on May 12th.
- Bassist Tina Weymouth remains with Frantz in both Tom Tom Club and marriage.
- Keyboardist and guitarist Jerry Harrison recently announced the Remain in Light Turns 40 festival tour, with former touring member Adrian Belew and the band Turkuaz, for whom Harrison produced an album last year.
