While we wait for Bruce Springsteen to announce details of his December live archival release, his new documentary and concert film, Western Stars, will be released digitally and on Blu-ray on December 19th.
The film captures Bruce performing his Western Stars album in front of a small audience in his Colts Neck, New Jersey barn, interspersed with commentary he scripted.
In other live Bruce news, he posted a video of his last-ever performance with E Street Band sax player Clarence "Big Man" Clemons.
It's from December 7th, 2010 for a small audience at the Carousel House on the Asbury Park, New Jersey boardwalk for a special performance of songs from his Darkness on the Edge of Town box set, The Promise. The last song they did was "Blue Christmas." Clemons died on June 18th, 2011 of complications resulting from a stoke. His final performance was with Lady Gaga on American Idol a month before.
Bruce has also posted on his YouTube channel and on Apple Music his November 18th, 1975 show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, three months after the release of his Born to Run album.
