Elton John nominated for another Academy Award


Elton John could bring home another Oscar. The music legend and his writing partner Bernie Taupin received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again,” from Elton’s biopic movie “Rocketman.” 

This is Sir Elton’s fourth Oscar nomination. He won once, for “The Lion King’s” “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.”

·Elton is set to compete with such big names as RandyNewman and Diane Warren, as well as the “Frozen II” pair of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and Joshuah Brian Campbell and Cynthia Erivo.

The 92nd Annual Academy Awards air February 9th on ABC.
