Olivia Newton-John was worried that her most recent health crisis might be the end of her singing career.Happily that’s not the case.Olivia is sharing new music with her fans.
Olivia recently received a new song that she felt says was perfect to record as a duet with her daughter, Chloe. Then, a longtime friend sent her a Christmas song that they will record together.
Olivia says,"I didn't think I'd ever sing again. I mean, once I did my last concert and I went through kind of a rough period, and I thought, 'Oh, you know, that's it for me.' And then, a couple of month ago, someone I had met just briefly, sent me a song a cousin of hers had written. And I fell in love with this song. And I'm going to actually record it with my daughter. So I'm very excited about that. And then, another friend of mine, a wonderful singer, sent me a Christmas song I'm going to do with her. So, suddenly from not singing at all, I'm doing two songs."
Olivia has the ability to record at home and have a producer mix the tracks. She says there's a chance that this Christmas collaboration will be released later this year.That is good news.
