Dolly Parton is well on her way to becoming a national hero. The musical legend donated $1 million into the COVID-19 research that has resulted in the Moderna vaccine, which is said to provide over 95 percent protection from the virus.
Dolly made the donation through Nashville's Vanderbilt University, one of the institutions studying the vaccine.
In case there was any doubt about Dolly's participation, Doctor Meade Krosby did some fact-checking.
