Phil Collins scored a victory Wednesday in his legal battle ex-wife Orianne Cevey over his Miami estate when a judge ruled that her claims about his mental health and hygiene will be struck from the record.
Collins’ lawyer Brandon Carrington says, “These are outrageous statements that I’m not going to repeat.”
The judge also ruled that Orianne be deposed, as soon as next month. Phil and Orianne, his third wife, divorced in 2006, but later reconciled in 2015 when he moved to Miami to be near her and their two sons. The relationship came to an end later when Orianne married Thomas Bates in August.
Orianne claims Phil promised her 50 percent of the $40 million estate.Collins is trying to sell the Miami home. Orianne has been living in the home with current husband Bates.
She was ordered to vacate the house in January.
