Fans being treated to a little peek at Peter Jackson’s upcoming Beatles documentary “Get Back.”
Paul McCartney has jumped on Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes clip of the documentary.
Jackson explains the process of making the Beatles film in the video, which he has described as a “montage” of videos that show the true “spirit” of the iconic band.
He also gives fans a sneak peek at what they’ll be seeing, including previously unseen footage of the band’s legendary 1969 rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, also the band goofing around in rehearsal, Linda McCartney chatting with Yoko Ono, and more.
Jackson says he’s been using parts of 56 hours of never-before-seen Beatles footage, in addition to 150 hours of rare audio, which have all been restored. Jackson says he’s “halfway through the edit.”
The documentary will be released in 2021.
