Among the long list of Beatles collectables up for auction are the original entrance doors from the iconic Abbey road Studios in London.
Along with The Beatles, the Hollies, Zombies and Pink Floyd all passed through those doors on their way to creating their classics in the 60’s and 70’s.
The doors with their original brass hinges were removed and placed in storage after a 1988 renovation at the Abbey Road Studios. They had been in place at the studio since 1931.
The doors are each 78 inches high by 30 inches wide with an estimated value of $2700 - $5400.The doors will go to auction on February 25th in an Entertainment, Memorabilia and Movie Props sale at Ewbank's of London.
