Jim Morrison fans can enjoy a collection of his poetry, song lyrics and other items he wrote in a new book.The Collected Works of Jim Morrison: Poetry, Journals, Transcripts and Lyrics was put together with the cooperation of Morrison’s estate.
The book is almost 600 pages and Morrison’s sister Anne has written the prologue. Nearly half of the book features previously unpublished material including excerpts from recently discovered notebooks, photos and drawings.
The book contains Morrison’s thoughts about his 1970 trial in Miami. He was found guilty of indecent exposure and open profanity. It also contains the final writings before his death in Paris back in 1971.
The book will be published by Harper Collins coming up on June 8th.
