Paul McCartney has announced plans for his first autobiography. The legendary Beatle has said he’ll give fans in inside look at his life and career with ‘The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present.’
McCartney will revisit early songs through from his days with The Beatles and Wings. He’ll also cover solo albums and up to the present day. The book will give fans the story behind the songs. Songs will be arranged alphabetically in the book.
McCartney says, “I know that some people, when they get to a certain age, like to go to a diary to recall day-to-day events from the past, but I have no such notebooks,” Paul says. “What I do have are my songs, hundreds of them, which I’ve learned serve much the same purpose.”
The book will go on sale on November 2nd.
