Gene Simmons put his Beverly Hills mansion up for sale last October for $22 million, but it didn’t sell. The legendary rocker spent millions in improvements and has now relisted it for $25 million.
Simmons bought the house back in 1984 for $1.35 million and reportedly has spent $12-million on upgrades since then.
The home is 16,000 square feet. The property has a swimming pool with a 60 foot slide, a tennis court and parking is available for 35 cars. It’s certainly not a small place.
Simmons and wife, Shannon Tweed, are said to be moving to a 24-acre estate in Washington State to get away from high California taxes.
By the way, Simmons’ huge collection of KISS memorabilia is not part of the sale…just in case you were wondering.
