U2 will share four concerts with fans on YouTube . Three of the four shows have never been released digitally.
The first of the four in the U2: The Virtual Road series will premiere on Wednesday for St. Patrick’s Day. This one is the U2 Go Home: Live From Slane Castle show from September, 2001.
The next release will come on March 25th with their Live At Red Rocks show from June, 1983 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The third in the series will premiere on April 1st with a December 1997 show in Mexico City during the band’s PopMart Tour.
The fourth and final in the series will premiere on April 10th and feature a December 2015 show in Paris during U2’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour.
The band released a statement saying, "Every show is memorable for us, but these four particularly so… It's exciting to be on the road again… Embracing all the wonder of the virtual road…"
Each of the four shows will be available on the group’s YouTube page for 48 hours.
