Soft Cell are returning with their first new album in 22 years. This comes three years after a performance at the O2 Arena in London that the band claimed would be their last.
Marc Almond and Dave Ball of the 80’s pop duo are currently working on new music and they hope to have an album ready to go next year.
Ball said that he and Almond are ready to reunite, adding: "In the years between, we’ve started to sound mature. [Our] new songs are still catchy, but a lot more worldly-wise.... We haven’t tried to write another ‘Tainted Love.' Maybe we should!"(NME)
