Mike Rutherford says American fans of Genesis may get a chance to see the planned reunion tour before fans in the U.K.
Mike appeared on the Rockonteurs podcast, saying because of the pandemic regulations in the U.K. and Ireland he "can’t see [the tour happening] at the moment."
September dates for the tour have been set up, though they were postponed several times prior to that.
Rutherford also said the U.S. tour dates could happen first because of the pace of vaccinations here. He said, "American shows might be in November [on the East Coast]. They are confident, they want to do it."
Genesis hasn’t played in the U.S. since October 13, 2007 when they wrapped up the Turn It On Again Tour at the Hollywood Bowl
