Aerosmith has been planning a 50th Anniversary blowout show at Boston’s Fenway Park for a few years. The show has been pushed back yet again.
It was last scheduled for September 14th of this year. The show has been rescheduled for September 22nd of 2022.That’s the third straight year that the 50th anniversary show has been scheduled to take place.
Aerosmith dropped a message on their socials telling fans they know this "means you have to wait a bit longer, [they] feel confident this is the right move in order to ensure [they] give you all the show you deserve."
The legendary group’s actual 50th anniversary was back in 2019.The 50th anniversary of the current lineup is 2021.You’ll recall that Brad Whitford replaced guitarist Ray Tabano in 1971.
Back in the 80’s, both Joe Perry and Whitford were also out of the band. The guys got it back together when the ‘Permanent Vacation’ album was released in August 1987.
