Phil Collins is apparently "cool" again even though the 70-year old is no longer able to play drums because of an orthopedic condition.
According to England's Sky News, Andre Spicer, a professor of behavior at the City University of London, says that "The Phil Collins Effect" can actually be plotted out on so-called N-shaped graph -- with each stage of popularity or unpopularity, lasting about 10 years.
Phil was one of the biggest artists of the 80’s and maybe a bit over-exposed. His stock went down considerably in the 90’s and has begun rising again in the last few years.
There’s a new video posted by Tim and Fred Williams, 21-year-old twins from Gary, Indiana who run the First Time Hearing YouTube channel. They analyze and are won over by Collins's solo track "In The Air Tonight."
They later declared that Phil "killed it! He killed that. Shout out to Phil!"
