The Go-Go's have announced that live shows will resume just after Christmas. The band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on October 30th.
The Go-Go’s will kick off their tour in San Francisco on December 28th, then it’s on to Los Angeles before ringing in the new year in New York on December 31st and playing Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.They’ll head to San Diego for a show on January 3rd.
Back in January of this year Gina Schock talked about how the members of the group still get along, unlike many other groups:
"You have to realize what your gift is that you're giving this music to people that love it. But, you know what? I can understand it because people argue and fight and sometimes people just say, 'The hell with it, I'm just not going to do this anymore.' Fortunately, that's never been the case with us."
