7 of 8 Here's a view of New Mexico's highest summit, Mount Wheeler. It's the tallest peak in the picture. Look closely and you'll see some snow left on the ground near the summit. It gets pretty cool even in the summer in northern New Mexico.
8 of 8 We stopped near Cimarron, New Mexico on the way home to see wagon ruts of the famed Santa Fe trail. They're clearly visible in this picture from south of Cimarron. The old trail is still visible more than 140 years after the last wagon passed over the trail.
