‘Billboard’ has released their annual list of the Highest Paid Musicians of 2020.The Eagles, Queen and The Beatles all landed in the top 10.
Taylor Swift topped the list with earnings of $23.8 million in 2020.The Eagles were at #4 with $16.3 million. Queen was #7 with $13.2 million and The Beatles were at #8 with $12.9 million fifty years after they disbanded.
Other classic artists on the list include AC/DC at 13 ($10.1 mil), Metallica at 18 ($9 mil), Pink Floyd at 20 ($8.8 mil), Fleetwood Mac at 29 ($6.6 mil), KISS at 33 ($6 mil), The Rolling Stones at 34 ($2.9 mil), Billy Joel at 39 ($5.49 mil) and Aerosmith at 40 ($5.35).
The reason for the big drop for The Rolling Stones from 2019 to 2020 was due to the fact the legendary band didn’t tour in 2020.
