Loverboy fans should be excited. The legendary 80’s band is back with their first new song in eight years. The song "Release" was written by guitarist Paul Dean and originally intended for a metal band that he was going to produce, but the group decided not to use the song, so Dean gave it it to Loverboy.
You can catch the song’s new video on YouTube now. "Release" is the first new music from Loverboy since ‘Unfinished Business’ back in 2014.
Loverboy is scheduled to headline a few shows and then they’ll team with REO Speedwagon and Styx on a summer tour, which starts May 31st in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
