Neil Diamond just cashed out and sold his music catalog to Universal Music Group.
Universal Music Group now owns the rights to all of Neil’s recordings, along with110 unreleased tracks and an unreleased album, UMG says it will release any future Neil Diamond recordings should he decide to return to the studio.
Talking about the deal, Neil said, “After nearly a decade in business with UMG, I am thankful for the trust and respect that we have built together and I feel confident in the knowledge that [they] will continue to represent my catalog and future releases with the same passion and integrity that have always fueled my career.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
