Heart fans finally have something to get excited about. The band is looking to reunite next year to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
During an interview with England's Planet Rock, Ann Wilson says, "Next year's the 50-year [anniversary] of when we actually got together and got going. [My sister] Nancy didn't join until '75, but the band got going in '73. So, yeah, we have a bunch of stuff planned for next year. So I can definitely see Heart doing something."
In February of this year, Nancy revealed that there was a substantial offer on the table for a Heart tour this year, however Ann is doing a solo tour and Nancy will hit the road this summer as Nancy Wilson's Heart, which does members from the 2019 Heart lineup, the last year they toured.
Relations between Ann and Nancy have been strained since back in 2016 when Ann's husband, Dean Welter, was arrested for assaulting Nancy's then-16-year-old twin sons backstage during a show in Seattle. He pleaded guilty to two lesser assault charges to avoid jail time.
Ann is set to release her new album, Fierce Bliss, on April 29th.
