Sir Paul was asked about being back on the road for the first time since 2019 and he said, "It’s always a bit of hard work trying to get back up to speed again, but the audiences make it so enjoyable that it doesn’t feel like work. So yeah, we’re all having a good time."
McCartney says he normally doesn’t get nervous before a show, but the the three-year layoff did concern him.

Talking about pre-show preparations, Sir Paul said he drinks a "Chinese syrup solution you put hot water in. It’s supposed to be good for your throat -- if you’ve ever seen pictures of me before the show with a cup, that’s what’s in it..."
