Elton John, Bob Dylan, Joe Walsh and load of other artists sent 80th birthday wishes to Beach Boys founding member Brian Wilson on Monday with a compilation video in his honor titled, ’From Your Fellow Performers.’
Elton John kicked it off by commenting that to him Wilson is "the only real pop genius in the world." Bob Dylan closed the video performing "Happy Birthday" to Brian.
Joe Walsh also appeared and began his guitar take on "Happy Birthday" with the opening chords to "Help Me Rhonda." Fleet Foxes and their horns played a part of "God Only Knows," and Smokey Robinson sang "Happy Birthday a cappella.
Long time Beach Boys bandmate Al Jardine also commented, "Just remember, we'll always be younger than your cousin Mike," a reference to Mike Love.
