The Rolling Stones' 60th anniversary will be celebrated this summer with a four-part BBC-TV docuseries, according to an announcement a few months ago. It’ll be show in the U.S. later this summer.
My Life as a Rolling Stone will be shown in the U.S. beginning August 7th on the Epix network.
The series will focus on the most recent four major members of the band -- Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts. It will feature unseen footage and new interviews, except from Watts, who passed away last August at the age of 80 from cancer.
Rolling Stones’ manager Joyce Smyth said, “We are thrilled to celebrate 60 years of The Rolling Stones with these four films which give fans around the world a new and fascinating look at the band.”
The series will also feature clips from Chrissie Hynde, Slash, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner and Steven Tyler.
