After months of rumors, Britney Spears and Elton John have finally confirmed they've recorded a duet -- and it will be released sometime in the next few days.
The song, "Hold Me Closer," is expected to be a revamp of Sir Elton's classic "Tiny Dancer." Elton tweeted a brief announcement, showing the song’s title with a rose emoji representing Britney, along with a rocket, representing himself.
This sort of thing is right up Elton’s alley these days. He and Dua Lipa recently hit the top 10 with “Cold, Cold Heart,” also based on another Elton John classic “Rocket Man” and “Sacrifice.”
Britney Spears hasn’t released any music since her Circus album back in 2016.
