There is speculation that The Rolling Stones could be working with producer and OneRepublic leader Ryan Tedder on a new album.
Tedder is actually the cause of the speculation. He tweeted (and then deleted): "New Stones album is going to blow your mind. So proud. Stay tuned.”
Don Was produced the legandary band's last four studio albums going back to 1994's Voodoo Lounge, and he was behind the board when initial recording for the upcoming release began in 2017. At that time Was said, "It's really early. It could go in so many different ways. But you can see the sculpting is just beginning. But it's gonna be a while before there's a record."
Tedder has produced big acts, including U2, Portugal. The Man, John Legend, Bastille, Alicia Keys, Zac Brown, Pink, Rob Thomas and The Fray.
