David Lee Roth has just released the fourth song from his recording session last May 3rd when he recorded 14 tracks in just two hours.
The latest release is his cover version of the Van Halen cover of The Kinks' "You Really Got Me" from their self-titled 1978 debut album. This release follows Roth's previous releases of his versions of the Van Halen classics "Dance the Night Away," "Panama" and "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love."
Backing up Diamond Dave are guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler and drummer Francis Valentino. Dave says the 14 songs were tracked live with "no samples" and without the pitch-correction technology Auto-Tune.
