The Ohio State and Iowa marching bands performed together last Saturday to pay tribute to Elton John at halftime of their game in Columbus, Ohio.
The bands performed Elton’s classics “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Rocket Man,” and “I’m Still Standing.” Elton actually saw the footage and said, “Thank you! What an incredible dedication with so much creativity!”
Elton's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour continues this Saturday with a show in San Antonio.
