Mariah Carey’s fans really do consider her the Queen of Christmas, including one of her very young fans.
Mariah made the season brighter for a 4th-grade super-fan with autism. She praised his version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and invited him and his mom to her New York City show last Friday. In her tweet, Mariah wrote, "Knox, you made my day... Thank you for reminding me why I do what I do. I love you!"
Jen White-Johnson, who is Knox's mom, told Billboard, “Mariah sent me a DM saying she knows it might be a bit too late for a fourth grader, but she would be happy if we would join her on Friday for front-row seats,"
Mariah acknowledged that the scene might be a little much for a special-needs kid. Johnson said, "The fact that she was so caring in paying attention to the fact that he’s autistic and that he would need accommodations? I believe she’s waiting and hoping for these little moments and gems to drop and her Christmas spell is working. Her fairy dust is happening."
