Just in time for Christmas Pink Floyd fans get the release of 19 new albums. To extend the copyrights of the recordings, Pink Floyd added 18 live albums and a disc of alternate outtakes to streaming services.
The shows were recorded around the globe in 1972, including three in the U.S. The release includes songs that would be released in March 1973 on The Dark Side of the Moon. The bonus album, Alternative Tracks 1972, features alternate versions of 5 Dark Side songs, including a rough demo of “On the Run.” Like the the recordings they released in 2021, these songs won't be available for long.
