Journey drama continues

According to Neal Schon's wife, not everyone is on board with having co-founder and former singer and keyboardist Gregg Rolie join Journey on their 50th anniversary tour.

Michaele Schon wrote on Facebook, "Two band members are an 'adamant no' against [him] to return. Life is so precious -- Neal and Gregg agree. Who wants to have that feeling? Truly sad.”

She added, "Music is for inspiration and joy! Everyone LOVES you Gregg Rolie and respects who you are and ALL you have been and are to Journey, for without YOU picking up Neal Schon from school, Journey would not exist.”

Michaele also wrote, "Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie will be somewhere together at least one time this year in honor of what they began in 1972. Faith, let’s ask God to find a way for them. Let’s pray for forgiveness for those who hurt Gregg Rolie and hope they learn what spirituality is someday..."

Back in 2019, Schon and Rolie, along with Journey drummer Deen Castronovo, performed a few shows as Journey Through Time.

Journey has two casino dates this month, January 27th and 28th in Durant, Oklahoma, before the 50th anniversary tour, with Toto as an opening act. The 50th anniversary tour officially gets under way on February 4th in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
