The 1974 document that was signed by The Beatles formally confirming the “dissolution of the partnership” is up on the auction block.
The document is dated December 29th, 1974 and is signed by all four members, with John Lennon being the last to sign it while he was on vacation at Walt Disney World. Lennon and George Harrison signed it twice as they were both Apple Corps directors.
The document gave Lennon and Harrison the freedom to pursue their solo careers, while requiring unanimous approval for all matters regarding The Beatles’ finances.
The document is up for bids at GottaHaveRockAndRoll.com and it's estimated to sell for between $300,000 and $500,000.
Bidding is currently at $100,000.
