When Christine McVie passed away last year, she left behind an estate valued at over $91 million.
Christine left the majority of her estate to her brother, John Perfect, and his children, and also earmarked money for a number of charities. McVie, who would have turned 80 on July 12th, passed away on November 30th, 2022 from an ischemic stroke, as well as having cancer.
Last week, in celebration of her birthday, an announcement was made that two of her solo albums will be reissued.
The first release will be a new remaster of 2004's In the Meantime that has been released digitally and on streaming services. It includes a previously unreleased song titled "Little Darlin'," which is posted on YouTube.
The album was also remixed in Dolby Atmos by Christine’s nephew, Dan Perfect, who co-wrote and produced the original album. In the Meantime will be reissued on CD and vinyl on November 3rd, along with her 1984 self-titled album.
