Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album ‘Rumours’ sold 40 million copies, and the classic album is coming out once again as a live album.
Rumours Live contains nine of the album's 11 songs, which were all recorded at The Forum in Los Angeles on August 29th, 1977. The nine other songs featured on the album are from the album Fleetwood Mac, released in 1975. The other song "Oh Well" goes back to the iconic band’s 1969 line-up.
“Gold Dust Woman” from the show was included as a bonus song on 2021's Live: Deluxe Edition, an expanded version of Fleetwood Mac’s 1980 concert album. The other 17 songs have never been released up until now.
Rumours Live will be available on September 8th in these configurations: two-CD and two-LP sets. The black-vinyl version features two 180-gram records, and a clear-vinyl version which will be released the same day exclusively at Walmart.
Rumours was recently certified 21 times platinum in the U.S. After last week’s announcement, "Dreams" was released digitally.
