Madonna is gearing up for her ‘Celebrations’ tour, which will start on October 14th and take her to 12 cities across North America and Europe. But before you see her live on stage, you can also support her charitable causes by buying some of her exclusive merch, which is eco-friendly and ethically made.
Madonna has teamed up with Ministry of Tomorrow, a luxury vegan fashion brand that produces its products in a carbon-neutral factory in Nairobi, Kenya.
The collaboration features two collector’s item tote bags, with top handles and shoulder straps. The bags are made of organic cotton canvas and vegan leather, and feature Madonna's iconic image and logo. The bags are available in two sizes: large ($250) and medium ($200). They come in black or white, and have a zippered closure and an interior pocket.
But the best part is that Madonna is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales of these merchandise items to Raising Malawi and the Chema Vision Children’s Center, two organizations that she supports and that help children in need in Malawi.
Raising Malawi is a non-profit foundation that Madonna co-founded in 2006. It aims to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi through health, education and community development programs.
The Chema Vision Children’s Center is a school that Madonna helped build in 2013. It provides free education, meals and health care to over 1,200 children from the surrounding villages.
You can purchase the tote bags on Ministry of Tomorrow's website or at Madonna's concerts. You can also check out the rest of Madonna's merch, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, hats, masks and more, on her official website.
