Queen+Adam Lambert ready to rock North America

Queen+Adam Lambert, the collaboration between the legendary British rock band and the American singer, are set to launch their fourth tour of North America.

The Rhapsody Tour will see them perform 23 shows across the U.S. and Canada, ending on November 12th in Los Angeles. The tour follows their successful run in Europe and Asia earlier this year, where they played to sold-out crowds and rave reviews.

The tour will feature a spectacular production that showcases the band's iconic hits, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", "We Are the Champions" and "Another One Bites the Dust". The band will also pay tribute to their late frontman Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.

Queen's guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are both in their 70s, but they show no signs of slowing down. In fact, they are thrilled by the response from their fans, who have embraced Lambert as their new vocalist since 2011.

Taylor said in an audio file: "Brian and I, we're kind of getting on, and it's just nice to know we can still do it. So we announced the tour in America and it sold in a day. It's just a wonderful affirmation of what you do. It just tears you up, you know, to feel vaguely relevant somehow still."

Lambert, who is 41, has brought his own style and charisma to the band, while respecting Mercury's legacy. He said in a previous interview: "I'm so lucky and honored to be singing these songs that are so brilliant. They're so well crafted and they're so timeless."

Queen+Adam Lambert have previously toured North America in 2014, 2017 and 2019. They have also released two live albums, Live in Japan (2016) and Live Around the World (2020).
