Rolling Stones surprise lucky fans with launch party

The Rolling Stones surprised their fans with a secret show at Racket, a small club in New York, last week. The show was a launch party for their new album, ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ which came out on Friday. About 600 lucky fans got the chance to see the legendary band perform some of their new songs and classic hits.

However, not everyone was happy with the experience. Tony Visconti, a renowned producer who worked with David Bowie, T. Rex and The Moody Blues, was one of the attendees who left the show disappointed. He posted a rant on Facebook, complaining about the long wait, the loud DJ, and the lack of information about when the band would go on stage.

Visconti said he and his date walked out of the club at 9:30 p.m., after waiting for more than an hour and a half. He said he had seen the Stones many times before with a better lineup, and he preferred to watch Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein on Roku instead.

The Rolling Stones have not commented on Visconti's post. Universal Music Japan has uploaded a five-minute video of highlights from the show on YouTube, which has received positive feedback from most fans.
