Lady Gaga has been busy collaborating with some of the biggest names in rock music lately. Last week, she joined The Rolling Stones on stage in New York for the live debut of their new song "Sweet Sounds of Heaven," which features her vocals on their latest album ‘Hackney Diamonds.’ The performance was filmed and released as a video on YouTube.
The song also includes Stevie Wonder on keyboards, adding to the star-studded lineup. Hackney Diamonds is the Stones' first album of original material since 2005's A Bigger Bang. The band celebrated the release with a show at Racket, a club in New York, where Gaga made a surprise appearance.
But that was not the only rock legend that Gaga shared the stage with last week. She also joined U2 during their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas on Wednesday. Bono introduced her as "the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she's ever in...the divine -- the divinyl -- Lady Gaga," and invited her to perform with them on their turntable stage.
Gaga sang along with U2 on their classics "All I Want Is You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," as well as her own hit "Shallow" from the soundtrack of her 2018 film A Star Is Born. The crowd went wild as Gaga and Bono hugged and danced together.
Gaga wrapped up her Jazz & Piano Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM on October 5th. She has been praised for her versatility and talent as a singer and performer, and her recent collaborations with The Rolling Stones and U2 prove that she can rock out with the best of them.
