Frankie Valli is not ready to say goodbye

Frankie Valli, the legendary lead singer of the Four Seasons, is still going strong at 89 years old. He is currently on tour with his band, but he wants to make it clear that he is not retiring anytime soon.

The tour, which started in October, is called The Last Encores, but Valli says that the name does not mean that he is quitting the music business. He tells the San Jose Mercury News, “Everybody is thinking that it is my last tour. And I don’t know when my last tour is, personally. If I can continue to do this, as long as I’m not feeling ill, I’ll do it.”

Valli, who has been performing for more than six decades, says that he still enjoys singing and entertaining his fans. He says that he does not have any plans to stop, but he will reduce the number of shows he does per year. He says, “After this year, we will slow down on the amount of things that we do. Instead of 70 or 80 or 90 things a year, we will probably cut it down to like 30 or 35.”

The Last Encores tour will continue until December, with dates in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, and New Jersey. Fans can check the official website for tickets and more information.
