The Rolling Stones announce 2024 tour

The Rolling Stones are ready to rock again. The legendary band has announced a new tour for 2024, in support of their latest album, ‘Hackney Diamonds.’

The tour, dubbed ‘Stones Tour '24 - Hackney Diamonds,’ will kick off on April 28th in Houston, and will visit 15 U.S. stadiums and one in Canada, before wrapping up on July 17th in Santa Clara, California. The tour will mark the band's first time in the U.S. since 2021, and their first tour since Europe in 2022. It will also be their first tour without their late drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in August 2021.

Keith Richards said that he and Mick Jagger conceived of the new album as a way to get back on the road.

"When Mick and I conceived of this record and it's a big hit, we go out on the road behind it. So, in actual fact, that is the second stage of the rocket -- you know, is to take it on the road," Richards said.

The new album, Hackney Diamonds, was released in October 2023, and features 12 new songs, including the singles "One More Shot" and "Living in a Ghost Town". The album was recorded at the Hackney Empire Theatre in London, and was produced by Don Was and Jagger.

Tickets will go on sale on December 1st at 10am.
