Rolling Stones box set will celebrate their golden era

The Rolling Stones are widely regarded as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, and their singles from 1966 to 1971 are some of their most iconic and influential songs. Now, fans can relive the glory days of the Stones with a new box set that collects 18 seven-inch vinyl singles and extended-play records as they were originally released by Decca, London and ABKCO Records.

The Rolling Stones Singles 1966-1971 is a limited-edition set that follows the success of last year's The Rolling Stones Singles 1963-1966. The discs were manufactured by Jack White's Third Man Pressing in Detroit, ensuring the highest quality and fidelity. The set also includes a 32-page book with liner notes by Stones authority Nigel Williamson, rare photos and memorabilia, plus a set of five photo cards and a poster, all housed in a hard-shell box.

The box set covers a period of immense creativity and experimentation for the Stones, as they explored different genres, styles and sounds, from psychedelic pop to hard rock, from blues to country. The collection features some of the band's most famous and beloved songs, such as "Paint It Black", "Ruby Tuesday", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Women" and "Brown Sugar". It also contains some rare and obscure gems, such as "Memo From Turner", a solo track by Mick Jagger from the film Performance, and "Sympathy for the Devil", remixed by The Neptunes and Fat Boy Slim in 2003.

The box set also reveals some interesting facts about the Stones' discography, such as the different versions of "Paint It Black" and "Street Fighting Man" that were released in the U.S. and the U.K., and the delayed release of some tracks that were recorded in the late '60s but came out in the mid-'70s, such as "I Don't Know Why" and "Out of Time".

The box set will be released on February 2nd, 2023, and is available for pre-order now.
