"Eternal Flame" is a power ballad released in 1989 as the second single from the Bangles' third album, Everything. The song was written by Bangles member Susanna Hoffs with songwriters Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly, who were inspired by an eternal flame at Elvis Presley's Graceland and a synagogue in Palm Springs.
