Kelly Clarkson celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a powerful rendition of U2's 'Pride (In the Name of Love)', a song inspired by the civil rights leader and his legacy. The singer performed the song on her "Kellyoke" segment of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ on Monday, January 15, 2024.
Clarkson delivered a passionate vocal performance, backed by her band and a choir, as images of King and other historical figures flashed on the screen behind her. She sang the lyrics that pay tribute to King's courage and sacrifice: "One man come in the name of love/One man come and go/One man come he to justify/One man to overthrow."
