U2 have reinvigorated their 1997 hit "Discotheque" with a new release to streaming platforms and digital retailers. The track, which originally appeared on their album "Pop," will headline a comprehensive maxi single reissue. This extended play runs an hour and 12 minutes, featuring 12 remastered tracks that highlight the essence of U2's experimental phase.
The reissue is a must-have for their fans and will feature the single and radio edits of "Discotheque" but also a suite of eight remixes that reimagine the track in various sonic landscapes. Plus, the B-side "Holy Joe" will get a contemporary facelift with "garage" and "guilty" mixes.
U2 have also unveiled a live performance video of "Discotheque," captured during their PopMart tour in Mexico City. It’s now available on YouTube.
