The legendary stars of the ‘80s classic “9 to 5,” Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton, are set to be honored at the Hollywood premiere of the documentary “Still Working 9 to 5.”
The documentary delves into the enduring impact of the hit comedy and the ongoing struggle for women’s equality in the workplace. Dolly Parton shared her thoughts in the documentary, stating, “Who knew that 44 years later I’d still be working 9 to 5. I believed then, and I believe now that every person deserves to be paid fairly for their work… no matter who they are."
In addition to being a celebration of the film and its stars, the Hollywood premiere will also be a fundraiser for ERA Coalition Forward. There’s been rumors of a re-imagining of the 1981 movie by Jennifer Aniston. We’ll keep you updated.
